The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility has launched a pavement rehabilitation plan on the M-50 and slope repairs on the A-6 and N-6 throughout this summer.

The works on the M-50, managed by SEITT, cover 38 kilometers and will take place throughout July and August 2026. These projects, with an investment of 52 million euros, aim to improve road safety on one of the region's busiest routes.
The mobility plan includes total and partial closures on various sections. To minimize disruption, asphalt work will be performed at night, while tasks such as painting or expansion joint execution will be carried out during the early morning hours to avoid extreme temperatures.
In parallel, the Ministry is continuing emergency repairs on slopes and walls along the A-6, N-6, and the Valle de Cuelgamuros road. These interventions, with a budget of over 1.5 million euros, involve restrictions on the right lane of the A-6 and full closures on sections of the N-6.
Drivers are advised to check the signage installed at access points and follow the suggested alternative routes, which include the M-45, M-31, A-42, and M-506. The General Directorate of Traffic requests maximum caution and attention to variable message signs during the construction period.
