The Orchestra and Choir of the Community of Madrid has unveiled its 2026/2027 season, featuring 18 concerts and 155 artists performing across Madrid.

The new program from the ORCAM Foundation includes thirteen performances in the Symphonic Cycle and five in the Chamber Music series. This expansion aims to solidify the institution's role at the National Auditorium of Music and grow its audience, which currently exceeds 1,400 subscribers.
The season features an eclectic repertoire ranging from the Baroque era to contemporary works. Highlights include the start of a Gustav Mahler cycle, beginning on October 6th with his Third Symphony. Additionally, the program honors Spanish composers such as Manuel de Falla, Joaquín Rodrigo, Ernesto Halffter, and Albert Guinovart, marking several significant cultural anniversaries.
Commitment to contemporary music is highlighted by two premieres in Spain: the First Symphony by Gabriela Ortiz and the Tap Concerto by Thomas Enhco. The season will feature 44 international guests, reinforcing the orchestra's status as a cultural benchmark both regionally and globally.

"We are much more than an orchestra; we are a flower with many petals that integrates socio-educational programs and choirs."
