The unexpected delivery took place on the highway shoulder, just before the connection with the M-30. Madrid emergency services confirmed that both the mother and the newborn are in good health after the incident.
Around 2:30 AM, the woman's companion was forced to stop the vehicle upon realizing the imminent birth. SAMUR paramedics arrived at the scene to attend to the mother and the baby, who was born inside the car.

After the delivery, the baby was placed skin-to-skin with her mother. Both were then transferred to Hospital San José de Madrid, their original destination, escorted by the Municipal Police.
