The Community of Madrid has announced the deployment of its five Mobile Citizen Service Offices starting July 27th to assist residents affected by recent wildfires at 15 designated reception points.

The President of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, announced that the five Mobile Citizen Service Offices will move to the 15 established reception points to support residents impacted by the fires. These offices will also be available in other necessary municipalities, balancing this work with their regular routes.
The measure was revealed during a visit by the President, accompanied by Their Majesties the Kings, to individuals displaced by the Western Sierra fire and housed at the Villamanta sports center, where 220 residents stayed overnight. These reception points complement the 14 others set up across municipalities including Alcalá de Henares, Alcobendas, Alcorcón, Brunete, Getafe, Las Rozas de Madrid, Leganés, Móstoles, Pozuelo de Alarcón, Sevilla la Nueva, Villamantilla, Villanueva de la Cañada, Villanueva de Perales, and Villaviciosa de Odón.
The mobile units will provide psychological support, information, guidance, and assistance with necessary procedures to affected citizens, particularly those whose homes were evacuated or lost due to the fire.
These mobile offices aim to bring the regional administration closer to municipalities with fewer than 65,000 inhabitants, enabling residents to complete procedures without needing to travel to other towns.
Currently, over 55,000 residents remain evacuated or confined in 15 regional municipalities, and 1,300 individuals from 21 residences and social care centers have been relocated.
The regional government maintains continuous communication with the mayors of affected areas and conducts on-site visits in safe zones to coordinate responses, support local councils, and address population needs. Furthermore, medication supply is guaranteed for both those confined at home and those housed in reception facilities.
