A 50-year-old man has been arrested in the Puente de Vallecas district of Madrid after being intercepted by the Municipal Police while driving a suspicious vehicle and discarding a bag of drugs.

The incident occurred on August 6th around 8 PM, when plainclothes officers from the Municipal Police noticed a vehicle they considered suspicious on Maruja García Romero street. Upon approach, the driver fled at high speed, driving through Ramón Pérez de Ayala street to María Pinera square.
During the pursuit, officers observed the driver throwing a green bag out of the window. Shortly after, a citizen alerted by phone to the presence of the bag, hidden under a parked vehicle.

Inside, a bag was found containing 502 grams of 'tusi' and two smaller bags with a total of 60 grams of cocaine.

The vehicle was finally intercepted on Dolores Olguera street. The driver, a 50-year-old man born in Romania, was arrested as a suspect in a crime against public health for possession of narcotic substances.
The operation began after plainclothes officers observed a rented car exhibiting suspicious behavior, prompting them to attempt an identification.
