The accused, allegedly part of an organized group dedicated to drug trafficking, operated between 2023 and 2024. The Madrid Public Prosecutor's Office is seeking sentences for crimes against public health, belonging to a criminal group, and illegal possession of weapons, with the aggravating circumstance of recidivism.
Key evidence in the investigation includes police surveillance and wiretaps. Investigators detected meetings with an individual known as the “prince of heroin” and constant activity at the selling points, primarily located at Calle Moncada number 122.
The premises operated with a defined pattern, based on quick entries and exits by buyers to hinder law enforcement action. Those involved used the urban environment as a “shield,” positioning themselves at strategic points to monitor police presence.
National Police agents testified about the continuous flow of people accessing the properties and quickly leaving to consume substances in nearby areas such as metro stations, playgrounds, or public spaces. Transactions were even conducted through windows, with direct passes or by throwing drugs outside.
During the police operation, significant quantities of narcotics were seized, including 11,486.51 grams of cannabis, 8.494 pure grams of heroin, and 182.5 pure grams of cocaine, with a total illicit market value of 183,129.60 euros. Many of the defendants have reached plea agreements, resulting in reduced sentences after admitting the facts.
