This cultural initiative, titled Noche en Blanco (y Amarillo), is organized to coincide with a high-profile international visit to the capital. The Madrid City Council has granted special permission for the theaters to serve as a space for gathering and reflection during this extraordinary event.
The selected films, sourced from the acontra+ catalog, are organized into thematic cycles exploring human and spiritual values. Highlights include episodes from the series The Chosen, as well as the documentaries Descalzos and Vivo, associated with the Hakuna movement.
Director Juan Manuel Cotelo will also be featured with screenings of his works Leonas, Tierra de María, and La última cima. Additionally, the program will include documentaries about Pope Francis, such as Recen por mí: La historia de Francisco and El bien y el mal.
To ensure accessibility, all sessions will have a flat rate of 4.90 euros, allowing the public to enjoy the cinematic offerings throughout the early morning hours.
