The survey, based on 46,712 telephone interviews conducted between October and December 2025, covers hospital care, Primary Care, and emergency services. The data was released on April 23, 2026, at the La Princesa Public Hospital.
According to the findings, 94.4% of patients treated in Madrid's public hospitals would recommend them to family and friends. Highly valued aspects include the information received, treatment, dedication, and privacy. A notable improvement was observed in "humanization indices," with satisfaction regarding nocturnal silence during admission exceeding 90%.
“"This is very good news, but it is also a great responsibility that compels us to continue maintaining and improving these standards every day."
For health centers, 90.1% of users would recommend them, particularly valuing the treatment, kindness, and the professionals' ability to resolve health issues. Emergency services, such as the Rapid Intervention Vehicles (VIR) and SUMMA 112 Mobile ICUs, received the highest score, with nearly 97% positive feedback on the information provided.
The Ministry of Health noted that out of over 90,000 public healthcare professionals in Madrid, 600 are specifically tasked with maintaining quality standards across all three care levels. Additionally, 34 new health centers are planned to open during the legislative term, with 6 already operational and 28 under construction. The launch of the new 12 de Octubre Hospital and the construction of the "City of Health," which will house the new La Paz University Hospital and a new Gregorio Marañón Hospital, were also mentioned.
