The Community of Madrid invites attendees to an oral storytelling event for adults that will explore the life of poet Federico García Lorca. The activity will take place at the José Luis Sampedro Public Library, located at Calle de Felipe el Hermoso, 4, in the Chamberí district.
The event will focus on Lorca's arrival in Madrid, his literary ambitions, and his time at the renowned Residencia de Estudiantes. It will highlight his immersion in the country's rich cultural world, filled with gatherings, cafes, debates, and unforgettable cultural milestones.
The importance of friendship in Lorca's career and his connection with other intellectuals who would form the well-known Generation of '27 will be remembered.
