The educational community in Madrid, including teachers, families, and students from all levels, will demonstrate next Sunday, the 19th, at 12 PM to demand the defense of public education against what they perceive as continuous attacks and privatization processes by the Community of Madrid.
The mobilization, called by organizations such as Menos Lectivas, CGT, and CNT, and supported by the Student Union and the coordinator of platforms for public universities, will start from Atocha and conclude at Puerta del Sol. The main objective is to advocate for public, free, and quality education for all.

"The lack of public places at all stages, overcrowding in classrooms, underfunding, job insecurity, and the abandonment of stages such as 0-3 or special education show the deterioration of the educational system. Faced with this, the educational community responds again with mobilization and unity."
The teachers' assembly movement has emphasized its commitment to fighting for dignified working conditions for educational staff and a fair future for working-class children. This demonstration seeks to be a unified response to the current situation.

"We must go all out to end the economic suffocation, achieve dignified working conditions for teachers, and save public schools from Isabel Díaz Ayuso."
For its part, the UCM for Public Education platform has urged participation in the protest on the 19th, denouncing the economic suffocation suffered by educational centers. They have pointed to the Economic-Financial Plan of the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) as an example of severe cuts, which hinder university access and deteriorate teaching quality.
