The event, in its inaugural edition, expects to attract around 5,000 attendees over its two days. The regional government is using this occasion to support local producers and highlight Madrid's agri-food offerings through tastings, culinary demonstrations, and direct sales of certified products.
Visitors will have the opportunity to discover and purchase products under the 'M Producto Certificado' guarantee mark. This quality seal, promoted by the Community, currently includes 505 affiliated companies and over 4,100 product references, such as honey, oils, cheeses, breads, preserves, pickles, and legumes from Madrid-based businesses.
The festival's program features live demonstrations by chefs from Madrid establishments like Ancestral (from Pozuelo de Alarcón) and La Casa de Manolo Franco (from Valdemorillo). They will prepare dishes using local ingredients. Chef Fernando del Cerro, from the restaurant Casa José in Aranjuez and ambassador for M Producto Certificado 2026, will also participate.
Wines from Madrid with Protected Designation of Origin will have a prominent space. Among the featured wines is Initio Tinto 2020, from the Las Moradas de San Martín winery, chosen as the festival's Star Wine.
Through this initiative, the regional executive aims to enhance awareness and consumption of Madrid's products among festival visitors. Participation in Ñam Ñam is part of the regional strategy to support the activity of Madrid's agri-food companies and consolidate the region's brand in the gastronomic sector.
