The Deputy Mayor and municipal spokesperson, Inma Sanz, announced that these spots correspond to two of the four types of camps offered by the Department of Social Policies, Family, and Equality. These will be complemented by programs organized by the districts. The registration period runs from this Thursday until April 29, and interested parties can apply electronically through the Municipal Activities Platform (PLACT).
This service, also provided by the City Council during Christmas and Easter holidays, promotes the personal development of children and young people through recreational and educational activities. This allows participants to socialize and have fun, while their parents can balance family and work life during non-school periods.
Under the Madrid City Birth Rate and Reconciliation Promotion Plan 2024-2029, the City Council is strengthening its camp offerings. Last summer, the number of available spots exceeded 40,000 for the first time, reaching a record 41,574.
“"These spots correspond to two of the four types of camps that the Department of Social Policies, Family, and Equality will offer during the summer, and they will be complemented by those promoted by the districts."
