The Community of Madrid, through Teatros del Canal, has organized a free, late-night cultural program for pilgrims on the occasion of Pope Leo XIV's pastoral visit to Madrid.

Under the title No la debemos dormir (We Must Not Sleep), this initiative will open the doors of the performing arts center between midnight and 5:00 AM on Sunday, June 7, offering a meeting space for young people. The uninterrupted program of music and dance aims to provide cultural and social spaces during the early morning hours, complementing the scheduled religious events.
The Teatros del Canal stage will host performances by Clara Montes, presenting her recital Marinera en tierra. Clara Montes canta a Rafael Alberti, inspired by the poet from Cadiz. Also participating will be Alfonso Acosta, Pantera, guitarist of the group Jenny and the Mexicats, with a fusion of rock, flamenco, and indie-folk alongside invited musicians.
Attendees can also enjoy a special showcase by the Ballet Español de la Comunidad de Madrid and various DJ sets reflecting the Madrid and national electronic scene. Pilgrims who verify their participation with the corresponding pass will receive a 20% discount on tickets for scheduled performances between June 6 and June 9.
Among the shows included in the promotion are La dama boba, a new production of Lope de Vega's classic directed by Josep Maria Mestres; Los Estunmen, an scenic opera by Nao Albet and Marcel Borràs with music by Fernando Velázquez; and SACRESIZE, a contemporary dance piece by Alberto Velasco.
