The strategy, covering the 2023-2027 period, has seen 38 out of 74 planned measures finalized. Currently, 46% of the remaining actions are underway, with the final steps focusing on planning the new organizational regulations for social service centers.
The staff reinforcement includes 112 assistants, 64 workers for the Family Card offices, 40 technical coordinators, 54 social educators, and 27 psychologists. This expansion marks a milestone, as it is the first time the centers have career civil servants in psychology and social education roles.
The new regulatory framework, which will replace the one in force since 1989, aims to transform social care. Key updates include allowing users to choose their reference professional and request a second technical assessment, with the goal of reducing administrative burdens and enhancing preventive efforts.
