The Community of Madrid has announced the launch of an exclusive collection of Metro caps, inspired by the capital and coinciding with the May 2nd and San Isidro festivities, available from April 27th.

This special edition, celebrating the city's patron saint, merges the subway's identity with some of Madrid's most recognizable emblems. The collection features seven distinct designs, available for purchase starting tomorrow, April 27th, both online and at key sales points in stations such as Ópera, Sol, and Plaza de Castilla.
Each cap, priced at 24.95 euros, is made of cotton and comes in a variety of colors and styles. All share two common features: the iconic Metro diamond embroidered on the side and a front illustration depicting a train alongside emblematic Madrid symbols.
Among the represented elements are the Bear and the Strawberry Tree, the Puerta de Alcalá, the Puerta del Sol clock, the Cibeles fountain, the Metrópolis building, and the Torres Kio, making each design a small postcard of the city. The collection also includes a special beige corduroy edition, incorporating the seven stars of the Community of Madrid alongside the logo. All caps also feature the inscription Est. 1919, referencing the year the metropolitan railway was created.
This launch is part of the company's recent merchandising initiatives, such as the watch with the colors of the twelve lines, the Christmas sweater, or the commemorative sneakers for its 105th anniversary. The collection not only stands out for its design but also highlights the deep connection between Metro and Madrid, reflecting how the subway is an essential part of daily life and the shared identity of millions of Madrileños.
