Madrid Metro's Line 8 will extend its service until 2:45 AM on Sunday morning, coinciding with the 'I Love The 90’s Madrid' festival at Ifema Madrid.

The special public transport measure aims to facilitate mobility for the approximately 29,000 expected attendees of the event, which will take place at the Ifema Madrid Exhibition Centre, located at Avenida del Partenón, number 5, in the Corralejos neighborhood, Barajas district.
The closest Metro station to the venue is Feria de Madrid, on Line 8, which connects to the wider network at Nuevos Ministerios, Colombia, and Mar de Cristal. Metro de Madrid has announced that the operating hours for this line will be extended between 1:30 AM and 2:45 AM on the stretch between Feria de Madrid and Nuevos Ministerios.
This extraordinary service will operate as a direct shuttle, with no intermediate stops. Passenger entry will only be permitted at Feria de Madrid, while exits will be exclusively at Nuevos Ministerios.
The operation also includes an increase in the number of trains in circulation, with reinforcements starting at 4:30 PM and reaching up to 33% more trains from midnight. Additionally, staff presence will be enhanced at stations and high-traffic points to manage passenger flow and resolve incidents.
Through this initiative, the Community of Madrid seeks to facilitate travel associated with major cultural events and promote public transport as a safe and sustainable option.
