The Community of Madrid has transformed twelve Metro stations in the Puente de Vallecas and Villa de Vallecas districts with decorations to support Rayo Vallecano in the UEFA Conference League final.

To mark the historic UEFA Conference League final that Rayo Vallecano will play tomorrow against Crystal Palace in Leipzig, the Community of Madrid has decorated twelve Metro stations. The stations, located in the Puente de Vallecas and Villa de Vallecas districts, now feature banners and decorative vinyls at their entrances to cheer on the Madrid-based team.
The stations involved are Puente de Vallecas, Nueva Numancia, Portazgo, Buenos Aires, Alto del Arenal, Miguel Hernández, Sierra de Guadalupe, Villa de Vallecas, Congosto, La Gavia, Las Suertes, and Valdecarros. The Portazgo station, in particular, has a special ambiance in its corridors and platforms dedicated to both the club and the traditional San Silvestre Vallecana. Approximately 230,000 users transit through these facilities daily.
This match represents a milestone for the Madrid team, as they will play the first European final in their hundred-year history. After eliminating Strasbourg in the semi-finals, Rayo has the opportunity to win their first continental title and become the first Spanish team to achieve it in this competition.
Additionally, the regional government will install three giant screens at the Vallecas stadium for fans to follow the match live. One screen will be placed in front of each stand of the venue, which has a capacity of over 14,700 seats.
This is not the first time the Community of Madrid has supported Spanish sports in this manner. In the summer of 2025, Metro decorated the Plaza de España station during the Women's Football European Championship. More recently, line 4 incorporated a themed train for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
