The high-speed rail line connecting Madrid with Málaga will resume service on April 30 at 12:00 PM, after being closed since February 4 due to damage caused by a rainstorm.

The railway infrastructure manager, Adif, has announced the recovery of circulation on one of the country's most important high-speed corridors. The interruption, which lasted for almost three months, was a consequence of a severe rainstorm that affected the infrastructure near Álora, in the province of Málaga.
During this period, Adif has carried out intensive repair work on the affected sections to ensure the safety and normal operation of the line. The reopening adheres to the railway administrator's planned schedule, which aimed for the end of April for service restoration.
The resumption of service will allow thousands of travelers to reconnect Madrid with Málaga directly, without needing to resort to alternative transport options. This line is crucial for communication between the capital and the Andalusian region, and its interruption had caused significant inconvenience for users.
