The seminar, organized by the René Quinton Foundation, is part of a national tour aimed at updating and validating René Quinton's legacy in the healthcare field. This gathering highlights the sector's growing interest in therapies that respect physiology and offer new solutions to current clinical challenges.
The free event, exclusively for healthcare professionals, received institutional support from Quinton Biotech Labs. This laboratory is globally recognized in Marine Therapy for preserving René Quinton's method, scientifically validating it, and adapting it to contemporary quality and safety standards for its application in medical practice.
During the event, integrative doctors, nutritionists, physiotherapists, naturopaths, and other natural therapy specialists shared knowledge and experiences on the therapeutic use of seawater. Marine Therapy is thus consolidating its position as a relevant discipline within the integrative health approach.
The presentations combined scientific rigor and clinical experience. Laboratory experts, such as the technical director and general director of Quinton Biotech Labs, provided an updated view on the evolution of seawater use, quality criteria for professional application, and keys to understanding its bioavailability and cellular function. Specialists also participated, addressing topics such as the role of trace elements in bone health and therapeutic selection criteria, as well as a clinical case in pediatric respiratory care.
“"More and more healthcare professionals are seeking effective and safe therapeutic tools, aligned with physiology and with a scientific basis, and these meetings respond to that need for more criteria and knowledge when accompanying patients."
The René Quinton Foundation, with over a decade of experience organizing these seminars, plans to hold a total of six in-person meetings across various Spanish cities, expecting the participation of more than 700 health professionals. Following the Madrid event in April, the tour will continue in Valencia and Bilbao in May, Alicante in June, Barcelona in October, and Málaga in November.
