The agreement, authorized by the Governing Council following the Health Sector Table on June 26, will benefit workers in hospitals, Primary Care—including Continuous Care Points—and the Madrid Medical Emergency Service (SUMMA 112).
Doctors will receive 484.31 euros for a weekday on-call shift starting in August, a figure that will rise to 513.36 euros by 2027. Holiday on-call shifts will amount to 748.57 euros in 2026 and 793.48 euros from January 1, 2027. Additionally, Saturdays will be recognized as a special day for remuneration purposes starting next year.
The agreement also includes improvements in working conditions, such as a new consolidated text on vacations, permits, leaves, and work-life balance for statutory personnel, which will replace the one in effect since 2021.
These measures are in addition to other initiatives by the Community of Madrid, such as financial compensation for the night of January 5-6 and Three Kings' Day, and the expansion of the continuous care supplement.
