The Madrid Railway Museum will transform into the capital's gastronomic hub on May 23rd and 24th for the inaugural Madrid Food Fest, an event bringing high cuisine in street food format and gathering over a hundred artisan producers.

Born from the creators of the popular Mercado de Motores, this festival promises a unique culinary experience where internationally renowned chefs will offer adapted and casual versions of their creations. The aim is to remove the barriers of traditional restaurants, allowing attendees to enjoy haute cuisine dishes with a drink in hand in a relaxed atmosphere.
Among the notable names leading the kitchens are Edwin Rodríguez (Quimbaya), Miguel Ángel Expósito (Retama), and Víctor Infantes (Ancestral), all recognized with Michelin stars and Repsol Suns. They are joined by innovative proposals from chefs such as Rafa Bérgamo (Kuoco), Pablo Sánchez and Lalo Zarcero (Marmitón), Javier Aparicio (Salino), and Jhosef Arias (Bold Kitchen), in addition to the pastries by Irene (Itama Pastelería).
Beyond the ready-to-eat dishes, the festival will feature an extensive market with over 100 artisans. Visitors can purchase exclusive products like the famous bravas potatoes from Bar Docamar, specialty coffees from Curador, bean-to-bar chocolates from Moxe, shepherd's cheeses from La Mueda, Zarro vermouth, pure honeys, and virgin olive oils.
The educational program includes workshops, tastings, and demonstrations. Attendees can learn about ham carving with Emilio García Ortigosa, the secrets of spiciness with Anilú Cigüeñas, enjoy the show Cabaret Sauvignon, or discover the essentials for making perfect gin cocktails with 100&NoMore. Tania de Anta will discuss new trends in contemporary hospitality.
On Saturday, May 23rd, there will be two sessions: from 11:00 to 17:00 and from 17:00 to 22:00. On Sunday, May 24th, the event will run continuously from 11:00 to 20:00. All activities will take place in the museum's covered venue, ensuring they proceed regardless of the weather.
The event will be held at the Madrid Railway Museum (Paseo de las Delicias, 61), easily accessible from the Delicias metro station (Line 3) and near the Atocha transport hub. Tickets, priced at 12.50 euros per session, can be purchased in advance using the code MOTORES for 6.25 euros. Children under 12 enter for free.
