Starting tomorrow and running until September 15th, users of the Virtual Health Card (TSV) in the Community of Madrid will have access to a daily information bulletin. This service, integrated into the 'Prevention and Health Promotion' section, will provide data on heat risk, estimated maximum temperatures, ultraviolet index forecasts, and health recommendations tailored to meteorological conditions.
The bulletin will classify the climatic situation into Normal, Caution, or High Risk levels, specifying the geographical area within the region. It will include maximum temperatures forecast for the current day and the following two, along with the ultraviolet (UV) radiation index forecast. Practical advice will be offered, such as the need for additional sun protection or recommendations to avoid the hottest hours of the day.
Users will be able to check information for other areas of the Community of Madrid and configure mobile alerts to receive automatic notifications when a heat risk level is activated in their zone. The service will also feature a dedicated space for preventive advice during heatwaves, with a particular focus on vulnerable groups such as the elderly, children, and patients with chronic illnesses.
