Madrid Community Firefighters have successfully extinguished a fire that broke out early Monday in an 1,800 square meter barn in Griñón, preventing the flames from reaching an adjacent livestock building.

The fire started around 4:00 AM in a livestock facility located on Camino del Chopo. Initially, ten fire crews were dispatched to the scene to control the blaze.
Thanks to the swift response, emergency services managed to prevent the fire from spreading to an adjacent barn that housed cows, according to information from 112 Emergency Services of the Community of Madrid.
Currently, five crews remain on site working on the complete extinguishment, which is expected to continue throughout the afternoon.
