Starting April 22, interested parties can bid on a variety of municipal vehicles, including cars, motorcycles, vans, and trucks. Initial prices are set at 60 euros for motorcycles, 400 euros for passenger cars, and 500 euros for vans.
This is the second auction of the year organized by the Department of Economy, Innovation and Finance, and the sixth since the initiative began in 2025. All vehicles have been depersonalized, removing corporate elements such as stickers or police sirens.
The auction is managed by the company International Auction Group, S.L. (IAG), selected by the General Directorate of Procurement and Services. Bids will be placed online until May 7.
Vehicles can be inspected at the facilities in Loeches (M-217 road) on April 28 and 29, and May 5 and 6, during morning and afternoon hours. Detailed information, including photo reports and vehicle condition, is available on the IAG website.
This measure is part of the City Council's commitment to the circular economy, seeking the reuse of materials and products to extend their useful life and reduce waste generation, in line with Law 1/2024, of April 17, on the Circular Economy of the Community of Madrid.
“"This system contributes to the reuse of materials and products, extending their useful life through second-hand buying and selling and preventing them from becoming waste."
