In the professional career category, Roque Gistau received the award for his forty years dedicated to modernizing the sector in Spain. The International Water Association was honored institutionally for its continuous promotion of knowledge exchange and global best practices.
The communicator Jacob Petrus was awarded in the communication and culture category for his ability to bring meteorology closer to the general public. National Geographic España magazine, represented by Paloma Martín, shared this recognition for its reports on climate change and drought.
