This financial allocation is aimed at students in Early Childhood Education, Primary, and Secondary education attending public and subsidized centers in the region. The initiative seeks to ensure access to adequate nutrition for a greater number of students.
To receive the full amount of the aid, the main requirement is not to exceed an annual per capita income of 8,400 euros. However, the scholarships will be granted in full to recipients of the Minimum Insertion Income (RMI) or the Minimum Vital Income (IMV).
“"The main requirement to access the aid in its entirety is not to exceed an annual per capita income of 8,400 euros."
Additionally, special considerations are maintained for victims of gender violence and terrorism, students in foster care, international protection, or those officially enrolled by the Administration. Families with members of the Armed Forces in the region, agents of the State Security Forces and Corps, and large families with incomes up to 10,000 euros will also receive aid equivalent to 30% of the service cost.
Once the call for applications is published in the Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid (BOCM), interested parties can submit their applications through the official website of the Community, the Digital Account app, official registries, and the educational centers themselves. For those who were beneficiaries in previous years, it will be sufficient to submit an express authorization allowing verification of continued compliance with the requirements, accompanied by the usual responsible declaration.
In previous calls, these aids have been subject to criticism from opposition parties and unions, who considered them insufficient and lamented delays in the transfer of funds.
