The Community of Madrid will allocate 3 million euros for the construction of a new Employment Office in the Las Águilas neighborhood, Latina district, renovating a disused building.

The Community of Madrid has announced an investment of 3 million euros for the creation of the future Employment Office in the Las Águilas neighborhood, located in the Latina district. The project involves the comprehensive renovation of the property at Rafael Finat 75 street.
This initiative will repurpose a currently disused building, formerly housing the Henry Dunant educational institution. It will be transformed into a modern, functional public space focused on employability and local economic development, thereby fostering progress in the district and particularly in the Aluche area.
The new Employment Office will be situated on a main thoroughfare of the neighborhood, benefiting from excellent public transport links. It will include various bus lines, the Empalme Metro station (Line 5), and the Las Águilas commuter rail station, ensuring optimal accessibility for both residents and users from across the city.
Spanning nearly 1,400 m² of built area on a 1,610 m² plot, the center will undergo a complete refurbishment to house a new-generation employment office. It will accommodate 50 workers and aims to become a benchmark in the southern area of Madrid, enhancing services for users and businesses.
This project represents an urban and social regeneration effort designed to strengthen proximity public employment services, create new job and training opportunities, stimulate local economic activity, and increase the neighborhood's appeal.
The Community of Madrid served over 650,000 users across its Employment Office network in 2025, providing more than 2.2 million advisory and information services. The regional government has invested over 15.5 million euros in modernizing these centers, with more than ten having been fully renovated since 2022, expanding facilities and improving accessibility.
