The first edition of LibroMad culminates this Sunday with a festive day in Madrid's Plaza de España, where the Community of Madrid has organized a public closing event featuring reading, music, and cultural activities.

Between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, the space will host a collective reading accompanied by a popular hot chocolate. Attendees bringing their own books can participate in a shared reading session, in an atmosphere enlivened with live music and the presence of Madrid bookstores.
The program will also include the literary gathering Reading to Re-enchant the World, featuring Blanca Lacasa, María Hesse, Lorenzo Silva, and Manuel Vilas, in a conversation moderated by Marta Fernández.
Throughout the morning and midday, other activities for all ages will take place, such as a family concert by the Billy Boom Band, the literary performance Who is Celeste Baker? by Lourdes Hernández, musical acts by Alberto & García, storytelling, workshops, and a scavenger hunt.
A book fair organized by the Madrid Booksellers Association will remain open all day, with numerous establishments offering 10% discounts and activities like author signings. Additionally, there will be a gastronomic area with various options to complete the experience.
LibroMad thus concludes its first edition after several days of programming across the region, with over 400 activities distributed among bookstores, libraries, and various municipalities, consolidating a new cultural format focused on boosting the book sector.
