The sixth edition of the La Sub25 festival, dedicated to young art, will take place on June 27th at Madrid Río, offering a varied cultural program.

The La Sub25 festival, celebrating its sixth edition, will transform Madrid Río on June 27th with an artistic proposal focused on young talent. The event, organized by 21 Distritos, will run from 8:30 PM to 2:30 AM at the Explanda Negra Multiusos, the Nave de Terneras, and the surrounding Madrid Río area, within the Arganzuela district.
The festival's main objective is to showcase the creativity and multiculturalism of emerging artists, bringing diverse expressions of contemporary culture to the public. This edition fosters a participatory and close-knit community, prioritizing the enjoyment of live performances, workshops, installations, and interactive activities over large crowds.
The program merges traditional artistic disciplines with new digital languages, addressing themes such as diversity, youth, sustainability, gender, and inclusion. In dance, performances by artists including EMPTY ROOMS, Carla San Martín, Myriam González, Miguel Jiménez, Alexandre Carrión, Llume Cía, Etéreocuriosas, THE, Colectivo D'elas, Colectivo Chipén, Maite Felipe, and Martín Barriuso will be featured. Performances will be presented by Sara Herrera and Moira Muñoz, while urban art will be represented by Prospe Not Death.
The musical offerings will include DJ sets and performances by PatataOnStereo, DJ Klau, and AntonashPiano. This will be complemented by a photographic exhibition by Max Naranjo, participatory activities from Chico Trópico, Circo Diverso, Planet Dots, La Cresta, and astronomers, as well as immersive and digital art from Mapping ON, Moira Muñoz, Valver, Ignacio Navas, Eva Iszoro, and Emmanuel González.
Poetry, theater, and recitals will be present with Colectivo MIAÜ, Irene Díaz Lázaro and Mateo López-Yarto, La Sussi, Alma Dinamita, and the PowerPoint Party hosted by Helio Roque. Attendees can participate in 'Murales de Expresión' (Expression Murals), watch short films made by young people, or customize their clothing at the 'Zona Tunéate' (Tune-Up Zone).
Among the participatory activities are the creation of a collective artwork using recycled clothing, a tour of 'El laberinto del cómic' (The Comic Maze) designed by Max, and circus workshops by Circo Diverso. There will also be a samba-reggae musical performance by Batucada que Entiende and a contemporary circus night parade.
The night of June 27th in Madrid Río will become a meeting point for young creativity, artistic diversity, and citizen participation, solidifying La Sub25 as a significant cultural event in the capital.
