A young man, approximately 20 years old, suffered serious injuries early Sunday morning as a result of an assault with a bladed weapon. The incident occurred at the Puente Alcocer Renfe station, located in the Villaverde district of Madrid.

Madrid Emergency services, via Samur-Civil Protection, received the alert around 00:15 AM. Upon arrival at the scene, paramedics treated the injured individual, who presented several wounds, including at least two to the back.

After being stabilized at the scene, the young man was urgently transported to a hospital in serious condition. Madrid Municipal Police assisted the ambulance convoy, while the National Police has launched an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the assault.
