Million-euro robbery investigated at Torrejón de Ardoz jewelry store

Two individuals attempted to enter the premises while two others smashed the window and stole jewelry valued at half a million euros.

The National Police has launched an investigation following a violent robbery that occurred this Friday at a jewelry store on Avenida de Madrid, in Torrejón de Ardoz, where jewelry valued at 500,000 euros was stolen.

The incident took place around 11:00 AM, when two individuals with covered faces attempted to enter the establishment. According to reports from Telemadrid, the assailants wore scarves, hoods, and large sunglasses to conceal their identities.
At that moment, two other individuals burst onto the scene and smashed the jewelry store's display window using mallets. The television channel also reported that one of the assailants pointed a pistol at those present before they broke the glass.
The criminals managed to steal several jewelry samples, valued at approximately 500,000 euros, before fleeing. The National Police has taken charge of the investigation, collecting fingerprints at the scene and reviewing security cameras in the area.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with this robbery.
