Finlight and Norsol accelerate industrial decarbonisation with zero-upfront investment self-consumption solutions

The agreement kicks off with three industrial projects already closed, totalling nearly 8 MW of photovoltaic power and 11 MWh of energy storage, combining flexible financing, self-consumption, and intelligent energy management.

Finlight and Norsol Energía Solar have signed a strategic agreement to drive the energy transformation of Spanish industry through solutions that integrate photovoltaic self-consumption, energy storage, intelligent energy management, and financing models that eliminate the need for initial investment by companies.
The collaboration begins with three industrial projects already closed during 2026, totalling approximately 8,000 kW of photovoltaic power and 11,000 kWh of battery storage, consolidating a joint proposal aimed at improving companies' competitiveness and accelerating their decarbonisation goals.
The agreement combines Norsol's expertise in the design, engineering, and implementation of energy solutions for industry with Finlight's ability to structure financing models tailored to each project. Thanks to this complementarity, companies can access advanced energy infrastructure without making initial payments and benefit immediately from energy savings and greater cost stability.
In a context marked by volatile energy markets, the advancement of industrial process electrification, and increasing regulatory pressure to reduce emissions, both companies will offer comprehensive solutions that combine renewable generation, battery storage, advanced monitoring, consumption optimisation, and long-term energy supply models adapted to each client's specific needs.
Finlight specialises in energy financing solutions such as PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) contracts, energy renting, and other flexible formulas that reduce energy bills, provide cost predictability, and minimise exposure to market fluctuations.
For its part, Norsol has over twenty years of experience developing energy solutions for industry. Its offering goes beyond the installation of photovoltaic systems and includes the design of energy strategies that integrate renewable generation, storage, process electrification, and intelligent demand management to improve business efficiency and competitiveness.
Asset buy-back to free up capital and drive new investments
One of the collaboration's differentiating elements is the ability to offer buy-back solutions for existing energy assets. Through this model, Finlight acquires operational energy installations, allowing companies to free up financial resources, strengthen their liquidity, and allocate that capital to new strategic initiatives, while maintaining the operational benefits associated with these assets.
The alliance's strength lies precisely in combining Norsol's technological and execution capabilities with Finlight's financial and investment capacity, enabling larger industrial projects to be undertaken through structures tailored to each organisation's needs.
Three projects underway to accelerate industrial decarbonisation
The three projects already closed by both companies will, once executed, significantly reduce the participating companies' CO₂ emissions, increase their competitiveness, and enhance their energy independence and flexibility.
“

"The energy transition in industry requires much more than installing solar panels. Companies need to produce, store, and manage their energy intelligently to gain competitiveness and reduce their exposure to market volatility. This agreement allows us to offer a comprehensive solution that maximises the energy and economic value of each project", states Martín Zaldo Saiz, CEO of Norsol Energía Solar."

With this agreement, both companies establish a stable collaboration framework based on a solid portfolio of already identified opportunities, which will enable the development of new energy projects across various industrial sectors, fostering a more efficient, resilient, and sustainable industry.
“

"Many profitable energy projects remain unexecuted due to investment limitations or financial capacity constraints. Our goal is to remove these barriers so that no company has to choose between preserving liquidity or advancing its decarbonisation process. Thanks to this collaboration, we can offer a comprehensive solution that combines financing, technology, and support throughout the entire project lifecycle", points out Mateo Andrada-Vanderwilde, CIO of Finlight."
