The incident, affecting the section between Acacias and Urgel, is due to "reasons beyond the service," as reported by the public company. Initial estimates suggest that the restoration of circulation could take more than an hour.
This closure also impacts the intermediate stations on the line: Pirámides, Marqués de Vadillo, and Urgel. Direct service between the Arganzuela and Carabanchel districts is temporarily suspended.
Madrid Metro has advised users to utilize alternative public transport routes while work is carried out to resolve the incident.
