The Hortaleza Municipal Board has announced the six finalists for the Roberto Mira Music Contest, who will perform live during the upcoming Spring Festivities, scheduled from May 29 to June 7.

This contest, which has paid tribute to the late singer of the rock band Porretas since 2013, aims to promote emerging solo artists and musical groups from the Community of Madrid. This year's edition saw a 30% increase in submitted demos, totaling 25 proposals.
The jury has selected six finalists who will have the opportunity to showcase their talent live on Saturday, May 30, at the Pilar García Peña auditorium, as part of the Spring Festivities program. The top two classified acts from this day will advance to perform as opening acts for the main performances the following weekend, on June 5 and 6.
The selected finalists for this edition are Talisker Band, Call Me Penguin, Lili Ritz, Altillo, La Jara, and Riada. Additionally, four alternates have been named: Ciencia Urbana, David Muntané, Alex And The Groovies, and Trapos Sucios. The top two classified acts will receive cash prizes of 1,000 and 500 euros, respectively.
