Heat offers a respite in Madrid: highs drop to 34º

The Community of Madrid will experience a notable drop in maximum temperatures this Thursday, ranging between 30 and 34 degrees, according to forecasts from the State Meteorological Agency.

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) anticipates for this Thursday in the Community of Madrid a considerable decrease in maximum temperatures, which will range between 30 and 34 degrees Celsius.
This drop in highs will be more pronounced in the western area and, locally, in the east and southeast of the region. Minimum temperatures, on the other hand, will see a slight to moderate decrease in the western half, with mild variations elsewhere.
Skies will be mostly clear with intervals of high and medium clouds. Evolution cloudiness is expected to develop during the central hours of the day. Additionally, morning haze will contribute to cloudy skies.
Winds will blow from the south and southwest at a light intensity, increasing to moderate during the central hours. Strong gusts may be reached in the elevated areas of the Sierra.
Regarding temperatures by locality, highs are expected between 25ºC and 32ºC in Madrid; 23ºC and 34ºC in Alcalá de Henares and Aranjuez; 20ºC and 30ºC in Collado Villalba; 23ºC and 32ºC in Getafe; and 22ºC and 32ºC in Navalcarnero.
