The National Police has successfully dismantled a criminal gang, arresting four men involved in at least 14 burglaries in offices and commercial establishments across the Community of Madrid.

The arrests took place on April 20, concluding an investigation that identified the individuals as specialists in assaulting premises where safes were presumed to exist, promising significant financial gains.
According to the Superior Police Headquarters of Madrid, the criminal acts were distributed across several areas of the region. In the capital, the robberies were recorded in the districts of Chamberí, Retiro, Centro, Chamartín, and Moncloa - Aravaca. Additionally, the gang operated in the towns of Getafe and Coslada.
The inquiries began after a burglary at a commercial establishment in the Retiro district, where the assailants stole a safe after forcing the entrance door. As the investigation progressed, officers collected up to fourteen reports of similar incidents.
A particular case stood out in the Chamberí district, where six robberies were recorded in the same building: four in different companies and, just one week later, two more assaults in the same property. Following the identification of the alleged perpetrators, a surveillance operation was established, leading to their arrest and subsequent appearance before judicial authorities.
