Tension mounted around 9:20 PM when a group of attendees at the rally, organized under the slogan ‘Ceuta unites us’, began throwing objects at officers. Police responded by dispersing the crowd with tear gas and rubber bullets.
The Government Delegation in Madrid reported that the arrests were made for public disorder and an attack against authority. Three officers suffered minor injuries, while a fourth is awaiting medical evaluation.
Following the police intervention, protesters scattered into the streets adjacent to Congress, shouting racist slogans. The demonstration had been organized by Ceuta residents living in Madrid and included members of the far-right organization Núcleo Nacional.

The Government Delegate in Madrid, Francisco Martín, condemned the violent acts via the social network X, wishing the injured officers a speedy recovery and expressing gratitude to security and emergency professionals.
Martín also thanked the media personnel who were harassed during the protest, when a group attempted to take their microphone. He emphasized that violence is never the answer and held those who incite it responsible.
