The European GRC platform, Formalize, and the Spanish Association for Standardization (UNE) have formalized a collaboration to directly integrate ISO standards into their system, simplifying regulatory compliance for businesses.

The European Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platform, Formalize, has announced a strategic alliance with the Spanish Association for Standardization (UNE), the official representative of ISO and IEC in Spain. This agreement will allow for the direct integration of ISO standards into Formalize's platform, aiming to digitize and simplify regulatory compliance management.
Traditionally, managing standards like ISO has involved fragmented documents, spreadsheets, and manual interpretations, which is particularly challenging for teams with limited resources. The new collaboration seeks to transform this reality by integrating official frameworks into an operational and accessible format within the Formalize platform.
As part of the alliance, Formalize IQ will be launched, an artificial intelligence solution designed to assist teams in interpreting standards and identifying compliance gaps. This tool will directly utilize official standards, ensuring data reliability and facilitating the practical application of regulatory requirements.

"The Formalize platform transforms requirements into actions by ensuring the system and the standard speak the same language. Having been selected to develop advanced GRC tools with the participation of an official ISO/IEC representative is the strongest possible confirmation that we are on the right track."

Jakob Lilholm · CEO of Formalize
This collaboration positions Formalize as the first GRC provider in Spain to establish a direct strategic alliance with UNE to modernize ISO-related workflows, making advanced compliance more accessible for mid-market teams.

"The way organizations consume and implement standards must evolve to meet the demands of the digital age. By integrating our official frameworks into an operational system like Formalize, we ensure that global standards remain accessible and actionable for modern businesses."

Pablo A. Corróns Crespí · Director of Intellectual Property and Standards Distribution at UNE
Formalize, with offices in Madrid, is a European operational GRC platform used by over 8,000 companies and 15 million users.
