Under the name 'Impulsamos el futuro de Madrid' (We drive Madrid's future), the exhibitions can be visited free of charge throughout the month of August. One is located at the Tercer Depósito de Chamberí, open from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM, and the other at the Cuarto Depósito de Plaza de Castilla, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
The exhibitions consist of six large-format totems with explanatory texts detailing the public company's trajectory from its creation to the present day. The aim is to inform visitors about the contribution of Canal de Isabel II to the progress of the Community of Madrid.
The selected images illustrate key milestones such as the construction of the El Pontón de la Oliva dam, the arrival of water supply to the fuente de San Bernardo, and major infrastructures like the El Atazar dam and elevated reservoirs. Recent scenes related to the implementation of technological advances for environmental protection, the use of this resource for energy generation, and current integral water cycle management systems are also included.
This traveling exhibition has previously toured a dozen municipalities in the Community of Madrid during the first six months of the year, forming part of the numerous social, cultural, and sports activities planned for the company's 175th-anniversary commemoration.
