The EuroLeague quarter-final matches between Real Madrid and Hapoel Tel Aviv at Madrid's Movistar Arena will implement strict ID-based access control and a reinforced security apparatus.

The upcoming EuroLeague quarter-final matches, featuring Real Madrid against Hapoel Tel Aviv, are scheduled for Wednesday and Friday at the Movistar Arena. These games will proceed with reduced capacity and heightened security measures. This decision was made on Thursday during a coordination meeting at the Government Delegation in Madrid.
Attendees will be required to present their national identity document for entry. Additionally, the first rows of the pavilion will remain empty, and access points will open earlier to facilitate an orderly flow of spectators. Hapoel Tel Aviv will not be permitted to sell tickets, and their fans will not be allowed into the venue. Entry controls will be intensified, with only sports-related cheering items being permitted.

"The Government Delegation has thanked Real Madrid for its «willingness to collaborate and responsibility» and has indicated that the matches can be held safely and compatibly with the right of assembly of the demonstrators who will gather outside the venue."

the Government Delegation
The security operation will involve approximately 450 police officers, supplemented by an enhanced private security team. This determination was based on police reports and an assessment by the National Sports Office. According to the Government Delegation, the risk level for matches involving sports clubs from Israel has been lowered from high to medium in the context of the Middle East conflict.
It is worth noting that previous matches involving Israeli teams in Madrid had been held behind closed doors, a measure jointly adopted by the Government Delegation, security forces, and the clubs involved.
