The Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum and Doctors Without Borders (MSF) present Esperanza a la fuerza, an immersive proposal aiming to bring the current situation in Sudan closer to the public.

The exhibition, created by the humanitarian organization, combines culture, art, and testimony to reveal the richness of Sudan—its traditions, music, and painting—while also showcasing the severe living conditions faced by millions of people since the conflict erupted over three years ago.
The virtual reality experience, utilizing 3D illustration and 360º video, focuses on the personal story of Mohammed Dafallah, who was forced to flee Darfur and now works as an anesthesia technician with MSF in a refugee camp in Chad.
The project also features artistic collaborations from Sudanese painter Rashid Diab and Sudanese-American singer Alsarah, offering an intimate and human perspective on one of the world's largest displacement crises.
Access to the exhibition is free with prior ticket reservation. Opening hours are Mondays from 12:00 to 16:00, Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10:00 to 21:00, and Sundays from 10:00 to 19:00.
