The exhibition, open until March 28, 2027, features around thirty images by various authors, produced by the Spanish Society of Evolutionary Biology (SESBE). The photographs depict amphibians, reptiles, birds, and insects, among others, and are divided into five thematic areas: 'The Ecological Theatre', 'Coevolution', 'Sexual Selection', 'Social Evolution', and 'Evolution in the Anthropocene'.
The snapshots capture strategies such as camouflage, translucency, and aposematic coloration, exploring adaptation, collaboration, and conflict as drivers of life. The exhibition also addresses social evolution, highlighting the importance of pair formation, families, and the advantages of group living.
The tour concludes with a reflection on the Anthropocene, the current era marked by human impact on the environment, including habitat loss and climate change. Despite these challenges, the exhibition aims to offer an optimistic perspective on life's ability to forge its path through evolution.

Among the photographers are Roberto García-Roa, Alejandra Rendón, Gerard Carbonell, Jaime Culebras, Joan de la Malla, Jon A. Juárez, and Merche Llobera, many with scientific backgrounds and national and international awards.
The official inauguration will take place on September 29 at 1:00 PM, with speeches by Rafael Zardoya, Director of MNCN; photographer Roberto García-Roa; and Pau Carazo from SESBE. A guided tour of the exhibition will follow.
