The initiative, organized by the Ministry of Family, Youth and Social Affairs through the General Directorate of Youth, is aimed at students in Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO), Baccalaureate, Vocational Training (FP), Special Education, Compensation Education Classrooms, and Training and Labor Insertion Units.
Since last year, the program has delivered 178 workshops in 67 educational centers during May and June. The objective is to complement the academic activity for students who have passed all their subjects, fostering creativity, communication, environmental education, and knowledge of cultural heritage.
The program has been structured around four main lines. The first, dedicated to creative writing and poetry, has featured 73 activities designed to spark interest in literary creation through the development of stories, micro-texts, and poetic compositions.
Additionally, 40 podcast and freestyle workshops have been conducted. These sessions have allowed students to become familiar with sound communication tools, create content, and work on improvisation, rhythm, and oral expression, promoting respect and teamwork.
Environmental education has played a significant role with 30 sessions of the 'Birds of Our City' workshop. Participants have had the opportunity to discover urban biodiversity and the species inhabiting their immediate surroundings.
Finally, the 'A Todo Folklor' program has offered 35 workshops focused on introducing young people to the region's musical and cultural heritage, exploring songs related to trades and the music that traveled between Hispano-America.
