The police operation took place in several districts of the capital, the Cañada Real area, and towns such as Alcalá de Henares and Fuenlabrada, as reported by the force in a statement.

The seized properties were located in the Madrid districts of Tetuán, Moratalaz, Villaverde, Centro, Arganzuela, Latina, Carabanchel, and Fuencarral, as well as in the Cañada Real and the cities of Alcalá de Henares and Fuenlabrada.

This action is part of the police strategy against drug houses and has led to the closure of numerous properties used for drug trafficking, some of which were illegally occupied. With these interventions, the Police have increased the total number of drug dens dismantled in the region so far this year to 90.

In Tetuán, officers dismantled three crack and heroin dealing points in occupied properties, arresting five people and seizing drugs, prohibited weapons, and nearly 9,000 euros. In Moratalaz, three marijuana plantations were discovered hidden in the foundations of a building, with 1,627 plants seized and one woman arrested.

In Villaverde, operations targeted several cocaine and heroin dealing spots. In the Centro District, a clandestine synthetic drug laboratory was dismantled, where over 1.4 kilograms of ecstasy, ketamine, LSD, and tusi were confiscated, and two arrests were made.

Searches in Arganzuela, Latina, Fuencarral, Alcalá de Henares, Fuenlabrada, and the Cañada Real led to the seizure of significant quantities of cocaine, hashish, and marijuana, as well as weapons and cash.
