The police operation took place in Madrid's Tetuán district, where a squat functioning as a distribution point for narcotic substances has been dismantled. The action follows numerous complaints from residents about constant comings and goings and public drug consumption.
Officers from the Narcotics Unit of the Tetuán Police Station confirmed the intense drug dealing activity within the property. Investigations revealed that buyers acquired substances directly from the street through a window adapted for these transactions.
During the search of the premises on August 14, officers seized approximately 55 grams of cocaine in rock form, over 103 grams of methamphetamine, and 16 grams of cocaine pre-packaged for immediate sale. Additionally, a bladed weapon and more than 1,800 euros in cash were confiscated.
Following the operation, the property was recovered and returned to its rightful owner. The two arrested men have been handed over to judicial authorities, charged with an alleged crime against public health.
