The political group has expressed concern over the status of the facility, pointing to alleged maintenance issues such as leaks and ceiling collapses. According to their report, these incidents have forced the closure of several rooms and the relocation of residents to common areas.
In addition to criticisms regarding the building's condition, questions have been raised about staffing and center occupancy. Más Madrid announced it will bring these matters to the next Vicálvaro Municipal District Board meeting, scheduled for July 9, to seek clarification on current operations.
Meanwhile, the Department of Social Policies, Family and Equality of the Madrid City Council has rejected the accusations. Municipal sources stated that the center operates in accordance with the service contract terms and that maintenance work is carried out promptly upon detecting any issues.
Regarding labor conditions and occupancy, the City Council clarified that the relationship between employees and the company is governed by the current collective bargaining agreement. They also denied that the center exceeds the maximum capacity established in the service specifications.
