The incident occurred at El Barrial station, in Pozuelo de Alarcón, when a man claimed to have an explosive device inside a carriage. This situation led to the temporary suspension of railway traffic between Las Rozas and Pozuelo in both directions.
Lines C-7 and C-10 were affected, causing delays, stops, and modifications to regular routes. Renfe announced the service suspension at 8:20 AM due to a «public order alteration».
Shortly after, at 8:33 AM, the company reported the progressive restoration of railway traffic, returning to normal frequencies. Agents from the National Police, along with K9 units, inspected both the individual and the train.

After the inspection, it was confirmed that the man was not carrying any explosive device. The individual was ultimately arrested as the alleged perpetrator of a threat crime.
