The main objective of these interventions is to optimize the functioning of healthcare facilities, reinforce security, and improve the comfort of both patients and healthcare professionals.
Planned actions include the renovation of air conditioning systems, energy efficiency improvements, roof waterproofing, as well as the creation of new care spaces. Parking adaptations and general maintenance and painting work are also included.
These works are part of the Infrastructure Plan of the Primary Care Assistance Management. Among the most significant projects are those planned for the Silvano, Las Águilas, and Eloy Gozalo Health Centers in the capital. For Silvano Health Center, the investment exceeds 1 million euros for the improvement of the thermal system. Las Águilas will receive 600,000 euros for the same purpose, and at the Eloy Gozalo Center, the thermal installation will be updated along with other general improvements, with a budget of over 590,000 euros.
Other important interventions will take place at the public facilities Joaquín Rodrigo and Almendrales in the Usera district, and Doctor Castroviejo in Moncloa-Aravaca. Additionally, over 3.2 million euros will be invested in works at the María Montessori and Doctor Mendiguchía Carriche resources in Leganés; Cadalso de los Vidrios, and V Centenario in San Sebastián de los Reyes. These tasks will focus on renovating the thermal supply and improving general infrastructure and services to increase energy efficiency and sustainability.
Furthermore, several Primary Care centers will incorporate new spaces to expand their care capacity. The García Noblejas Health Center in Madrid will create a new extraction room; the Estrecho de Corea complex in Ciudad Lineal will establish a new consultation room, and the La Plata Health Center in Torrejón de Ardoz will add a new physiotherapy unit.
In other centers, exterior spaces will be improved. The Isabel II Health Center in Parla will have its parking lot resurfaced and painted, and a new perimeter fence will be installed. At Parque Europa in Pinto, roof waterproofing and the remodeling of a safety railing will be undertaken.
