Community of Madrid Ends March with Over a Thousand Workers on ERTE

The number of employees affected by temporary employment regulation files in the region increased by 239 people compared to the previous month.

The Community of Madrid concluded the month of March with a total of 1,096 workers under temporary employment regulation files (ERTE), marking an increase of 239 individuals compared to the previous month.

According to data released by the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration this Monday, the total number of affected individuals includes 593 men and 503 women. Of this figure, 296 people were on partial ERTE, while 800 were on full ERTE.
By the end of the third month of the year, 901 of these workers were under ERTEs due to economic, technical, organizational, or production reasons (ETOP). This group comprised 518 men and 383 women.
Additionally, 195 individuals benefited from an ERTE due to force majeure, distinct from the pandemic-related modalities. Among this latter group, 75 were men and 120 were women.
