Renfe has announced that the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility has set the minimum services for the strike called for next July 31. These services will guarantee 75% of the usual operations during peak hours and 50% during the rest of the day.
Cercanías Madrid recommends its users check updated schedules before traveling, as the strike will affect all lines on the network. The company has issued a warning on social media, urging travelers to get information through the Cercanías App, at stations, or by calling 912 320 320.
The peak hours defined by the Ministry are from 6:00 to 9:00 AM, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM, and from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. During these periods, 75% of trains will run. For the remainder of the day, the service percentage will be reduced to 50%.
